On summer days you can see them perched elbow to elbow on power lines or circling in the sky to catch bees, wasps, dragonflies and grasshoppers in flight. They can catch up to 250 wasps and bees per day. To remove the sting before eating them, they hit them against a tree, not a crazy bee-eater!
